I have also tried to save in html, cvs and the rest but no. I painted over it in the screenshot becauce i have named this pc bigpenis and i didn’t wanted to get cencored. Everything else is working fine except from this thing. I’m at a lost what to do as I can’t find the audacity folder. I uninstalled and reinstalled audacity but now the default designation for save as is my desktop. My txt default encoding is utf-8 and i have tried importing txt file with ansi encoding to see if that was the issue but again no. I made the stupid decision to save as data folder to desktop, which was not the Audacity default designation and then through some moving files, they automatically got deleted. I am just opening the audacity exe to run it, i have previously tried to run it as admin to see if that was the issue but it was not.I ve tried save to a different destination but that didn’t work too. steve November 9, 2021, 9:01am 3 I expected the edited mp3 to appear in my default export directory, or to replace the original mp3 file. So, to conclude, the macro does not work, while the same command works manually. I reset all prefs during iinstall and i started clean. Audacity creates an mp3 in my default export folder, as expected. (Linux) Changed the default location of the Audacity temporary directory. I deleted audacity redownloaded and reinstalled it. (Linux) Set the per-user files directory per the program name set in configure.
